1. About LADFOX
LADFOX Ltd is registered in England and Wales under company number 17071630. Our registered office is 6 High Street, Maidenhead, England, SL6 1QJ. Contact: [email protected].
2. Quotations and specifications
Your quotation describes the agreed piece, materials, stones, price and any stated delivery assumptions. A quotation is not accepted until LADFOX confirms the order and receives cleared payment. Because gemstones and diamonds are individually sourced, an option may cease to be available before payment. Any replacement requires your agreement.
3. Payment
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, bespoke orders are paid in full before CAD work and production. Payment may be accepted through secure card checkout or payment link, bank transfer or PayPal. LADFOX will not ask you to send full card details by email or message.
4. Sketches, CAD and approval
The initial sketch and quotation are complimentary. Once an order begins, LADFOX develops the detailed CAD. Unlimited reasonable revisions are included before final approval; a request that materially changes the agreed brief, stones or manufacturing method may require a revised quotation. Production begins only after you approve the final CAD. Rendered images and CAD views are design aids and may not reproduce exact screen colour, reflections or apparent scale.
5. Cancellation
If you cancel after paid CAD work begins but before final CAD approval, LADFOX will retain the actual CAD cost for your design and refund the remaining balance. Once you approve the final CAD, manufacture begins and the custom order becomes non-refundable for a change of mind. Every LADFOX item is custom made or sourced to an individual specification. This clause does not limit rights relating to faulty, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied goods. See our returns and cancellations policy.
6. Manufacture and timing
Pieces are manufactured and hand-finished in Hatton Garden. Qualifying pieces are hallmarked by the London Assay Office. The normal production timeframe is up to five weeks from final CAD approval. We will tell you if complexity, stone availability, hallmarking, events outside reasonable control or an agreed alteration is likely to affect timing. Any proposal or required-by date must be agreed in writing and is not guaranteed merely because it was mentioned in an enquiry.
7. Delivery
UK delivery is insured and tracked. Immediate online checkout is restricted to UK customers. International orders require a separate quotation and destination confirmation; the agreed quotation will include delivery, duties and taxes. Please inspect delivery information carefully and contact us promptly if a parcel appears damaged or has not arrived.
8. Ring size and resizing
You are responsible for approving the requested size with our guidance. Resizing is assessed and quoted individually. Some settings, engravings, full-eternity designs and materials cannot be resized safely or may have a limited adjustment range.
9. Lifetime manufacturing warranty
The warranty covers verified manufacturing or craftsmanship faults, including structural or setting problems caused by our work. It does not ordinarily cover accidental damage, impact, misuse, chemical damage, loss, theft, normal wear, stretched or crushed settings, maintenance neglect or unauthorised third-party work. It is additional to, and does not replace, statutory rights.
10. Care and inspection
Remove jewellery for manual work, gardening, gym activity, swimming, hot tubs and exposure to harsh chemicals. Settings should be inspected regularly by a suitably qualified jeweller. Contact LADFOX before authorising third-party alteration or repair.
11. Faults and remedies
If you believe the piece is faulty, misdescribed or not made to the approved specification, contact us with the order information and supporting photographs. We will assess it and provide the repair, replacement, price reduction or refund required by applicable law.
12. Intellectual property
LADFOX retains intellectual property in sketches, CAD files, renders, website content and design development unless otherwise agreed in writing. Purchasing a finished item does not transfer a right to reproduce or commercially manufacture the design.
13. Personal information
We process personal information as described in our privacy policy.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the applicable law of England and Wales, without removing any mandatory consumer protection available to you. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
