Who controls your information
LADFOX Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 17071630, is the data controller. Our registered office is 6 High Street, Maidenhead, England, SL6 1QJ. Contact us at [email protected].
Information we collect
We may collect your name, contact details, ring or jewellery preferences, budget, ring size, messages, reference images, payment and transaction records, delivery information and correspondence. Our website may also receive technical information such as your browser, approximate location, referral source, advertising click identifier and cookie preferences.
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries and provide sketches, quotations and design guidance.
- To create, take payment for and deliver commissioned jewellery.
- To provide warranty, aftercare and customer support.
- To meet accounting, fraud prevention and legal obligations.
- To measure advertising only where optional tracking consent has been given.
- To send marketing only where you have separately opted in.
Our lawful bases
We use information where necessary to take steps at your request or perform a contract, comply with legal duties, pursue legitimate interests such as responding to customers and protecting the business, or where you have given consent. You may withdraw marketing or optional tracking consent at any time.
Who receives information
We use carefully selected providers for website hosting and forms, communications, payments, delivery, professional advice and advertising measurement. Card details are handled by the relevant payment provider and are not stored in full by LADFOX. We share only what is reasonably needed for the service.
International processing
Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we require an appropriate legal safeguard such as an adequacy regulation or approved contractual protection.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become orders are normally deleted after six months. Customer, order, invoice and transaction records may be retained for up to six years, or longer where required to resolve a warranty, dispute or legal obligation. Marketing consent records are kept until consent is withdrawn and for a reasonable period afterwards to demonstrate the request.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection. You may withdraw consent at any time. Email [email protected]. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
Photographs and testimonials
Customer photographs, proposal images and testimonials are published only with permission. You can ask us to review or withdraw future use by contacting us.
Security
We use proportionate technical and organisational measures, but no internet service is completely risk-free. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information through an enquiry form.
