2. Receive an initial sketch and quote

Your initial sketch and quote are complimentary. We use them to establish the overall direction, likely proportions and price before asking you to commit. Bespoke engagement rings ordinarily start from £1,999.

3. Select the stone and specification

We source a focused selection based on the shape, size and budget. LADFOX generally prefers IGI reports for lab-grown diamonds and GIA reports for natural diamonds, but we assess the stone beyond its grading report. Natural diamonds, coloured gemstones and lab-created gemstones are also available.

4. Pay securely and develop the CAD

Once you decide to proceed, full payment can be made through secure card checkout, payment link, bank transfer or PayPal. We then develop the detailed CAD model. Reasonable CAD revisions are included until you are happy to approve the design.

Cancellation point: before CAD approval, LADFOX retains the actual CAD cost and refunds the remaining balance. Once the final CAD is approved, the custom order becomes non-refundable because production begins. This does not affect statutory rights where goods are faulty, misdescribed or not made as agreed.

5. Approve every important detail

The CAD shows the structure, measurements and setting arrangement. We explain anything that is difficult to interpret on screen. Production does not begin until you provide final approval.

6. Manufacture and hand finishing

Your ring is manufactured and hand-finished in Hatton Garden in platinum or 14k or 18k yellow, white or rose gold. Qualifying pieces are hallmarked by the London Assay Office.

7. Delivery and continued support

The normal production timeframe is up to five weeks from final CAD approval. UK delivery is insured and tracked. Immediate online purchases are available to UK customers; international customers receive a separate quote covering delivery, duties and taxes. Every bespoke piece includes a lifetime manufacturing warranty and ongoing direct support. Resizing is assessed and quoted individually because suitability depends on the design.
